Misfat al Abryeen is one of the many attractive traditional villages in Oman, reminiscent of old villages in a Mediterranean town. Twisting lanes, covered passages and walkways, meandering flights of steps and an occasional pictureesque café. Of course we had to explore Misfat! And next to the village itself was the garden squeezed into the steep-sided gorge watered by falajs. We walked along the falajs and explored the garden after we had criss-crossed Misfat itself.
