Autumn has come to the Welsh Marches. I brought my camera one day to the Queenswood Arboretum to capture the autumn colours. Queenswood is just outside Leominster, only 20 minutes or so from our home. It was originally part of a vast ancient oak forest that reached into Wales.
It is now a woodland of more than 100 acres and also incorporates an arboretum with more than 1,200 exotic trees. They have a variety of Japanese maple trees, which became the focus of my little walk at Queenswood. They also have a variety of different oaks. I let the pictures speak for themselves.
