My previous post was from Funningur. Above Funningur, up in the mountains, there is a fabulous viewpoint. In one direction we look west inwards through Funningfjørður and in the other direction we look out towards the sound between Eysturoy and Kalsoy. We were blessed with fabulous light and the first image above here shows the sun rays lighting up the mountains including the one in the foreground to the right. And the sky was as often in the Faroes quite dramatic.
After our morning at Hvithammar we drove down again towards Funningur. Just above the village we stopped to capture the view below here.
