After visiting Sion we arrived at the Swiss home of our friends Arne and Rada just below Verbier. The first morning we had a walk to Montagnier, a tiny neighbouring village at an altitude of around 850 metres with lots of traditional wooden houses in the centre, where life seemed to move at a different and calmer pace.
