Eardisland is the little village (500 inhabitants, two pubs and a church) where our family lives. It is in Herefordshire, on the border to Wales. I published some winter photos with frost in February 2025 and now I have decided to show some spring photos from the village. I will interrupt the series of posts about Portugal, that I have presently publishing for some spring photos from around here, but more Portugal photos are soon coming again. The images are captured on the 20 and 23 of April this year.

River Arrow runs through Eardisland and a little canal was led off the river to feed a couple of mills. Both the river and the canal crosses Eardisland and that together with all the black and white houses makes the village so beautiful.

The left image shows the end of the dovecote, now converted to the village shop. And in the right image, Helen Kirkham, one of the persons manning the shop on a voluntary basis, is at the door. The waterway is the canal running next to the river.
