In 2011 I was invited aboard the motor yacht Christina G on a voyage along the Indonesian islands. We commenced the voyage from Bali and before we set sail I had an opportunity to travel around the island staying both in Ubud, which is the cultural centre of the island and aboard Christina G at the port of Denpasar.
In 2014 Jennifer and I came back and made Ubud our base for a week of exploring. We were interested in temple ceremonies and burial rites, the beauty of rice paddies and temples and of course the Balinese dancing.
In 2011 my images from Bali as well as sailing along the Indonesian Islands became part of an article in Boat International, “Along the Ring of Fire”, which is available in the Books and Articles tab.
