Cappadocia Landscapes IV

Sword’s Valley just before sunrise, as the balloons rise from the ground

I have to share some more landscape photos from Cappadocia. This time the theme is the early morning around sunrise.

Sword’s Valley. The rising sun is colouring the sky pink and red in between the rock cones
And the sun appears
A few minutes later the landscape is transformed

Compared to the desert landscapes in Utah or Namibia or Atacama, it rains regularly here in Cappadocia and the landscape was dotted with flowers as well as larger trees
