Cappadocia Landscapes - Jan-Eric Osterlund

In this post I have selected a few of my landscape photos of Fairy Chimneys and Hoodoos (funny rock formations) in the different valleys around Cappadocia.

*Sometimes the sculptured rocks resemble something when you look at it, like the dromedar lying down in the left image or the sea lions on the rocks in the background in the right one*

*Some of the rocks are pockmarked with caves and dwellings and storage areas like hear near Göreme*

*Balloon over a valley between Göreme and Uchisar*

*As the sun was rising the balloons came sailing in over the fairy chimneys*

*Early morning sun over a valley near Göreme*
