Christmas Carols

Every Christmas we receive the choristers from Ottery St Mary Church to sing the Christmas Carols at Knightstone. It is arranged by the Friends of Ottery St Mary Church and people buy tickets to the event. The money supports the church. The Friends offer mulled wine and minced pies.

We have around 60 guests and this year it was 24 choristers led by their conductor, Judith Reynolds. It gets quite packed in the Great Hall as all of us compete with the Christmas Tree to get space.

Mikee has participated a number of years, but this year she was in the Philippines.

In the interval the guests enjoyed more mulled wine and the choir withdraw to the Barn in the north wing, where you see them relaxing before the second act.
