Easter Lunch

Mikee, Jennifer and Eric (and me behind the camera) enjoying our first really warm spring day

We had lamb for Easter. It was the first really warm spring day (16 degrees). I had just come back from Dartmoor, where it was frost in the morning and I was dressed in fleece and warm jacket, a hat that covered the ears and gloves. But at our stream it was a wonderful warm and calm day, The daffodils has graced us for nearly a month now, but the magnolia trees behind me have just started to blossom (see the following pictures).

This image was taken the day before. You see the table we were seated at and the magnolia trees behind
And from our meadow you see the front of the Manor and again the magnolia trees, one with white blossoms, one with more pinkish
Another photo with a tele lens over Lewis well-manicured hedges

But two weeks earlier the camellia and magnolia had just started, and of the pink magnolia only the buds could be seen promising the spectacle we now have had for more than a week.
